Its Spring

Just a few projects around the house since its spring and the weather is nice.
Had to add a flower bed to the front of the Barn so it looked a little more like spring there too. Ron says I am trying to sissyfy  his barn.
The roses are beautiful this spring thanks to my sissy who came down from Colorado and trimmed them up so they would bloom better and they did thanks Sissy. There areo so many things I would like to do but until they figure out why I can't seem to walk very good I guess I will have to settle for what I can for now and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Hope everyone is remembering who created all this beauty. And giving him praise for it and all that he does for us. Thank You Jesus for all this beauty!

I am the worlds worst Blogger!!!!

Its been forever since I have added anything to my blog. Therefore I claim myself the worlds worst blogger. This is something I made today trying to find new ways to create. You can find it on my etsy under country carver I will try to put it in my store but I seem to sell better on etsy Thank you God for all the sales since I have been unable to work since September because of what ever this is with my knees and joints they just don't work any more I Am so thankful it is not in my hands too bad . I an sure God has a plan!!!

New Photo Albums

Well this is the newest of my creation. I found this great site that sold photo albums out of wood so I thought I would get this one for a pattern and I stained it and carved on it to make it mine. I am thinking of recreating these with different fronts and trying to sell them. Any comments would be appreciated. I could also try painting something n the front but you know me right now I am into carving. I am looking fr a cute frog pattern or two so if anyone has one they would like to share I would love it . Also bears are a favorite of mine as well. Let me know what you think.

Cutie Pie Cupid

Well here it is the new year and I am already behind on blogging. I had promised myself to do better. Its a cold winter day today so its a good time to get started on creating for Valentine's  Day our next Holiday. I live for Holidays they make me smile. This is my newest gourd Cutie Pie Cupid I have her for sale on my etsy site under country carver ans the gourd garden if you want more info on her.This is abut all I have created so far this year I am getting a slow start.Hope everyone is feeling good and getting their new year off to a good start I am ready to get my next knee surgery over with so I can look forward to some junking and more creating.

Getting Ready to paint ornies for Christmas!!

Well its been awhile since I have posted this knee injury has put me down but hopefully that will be all better soon. Starting on Christmas Ornies today so hopefully this weekend I will have some new stock and new pics for everyone. Have a Happy Halloween!! I will be dressing as a mummy this year!!! LOL with both knees bandaged up!!

New items added to the store!!

Well just added two new Frankenstein bowls a giraffe and a rose bowl to the store today. i got inspired when I sold something this week. Sold my peacock feather bowl! It was one of my favorites and I had just almost decided to shut my store down for awhile because things were so slow. But God is so wonderful and he showed me to be patient and wait on him and he will provide. Then a couple of days later a wonderful artist I had know from my hometown and old church family gave me some encouragement and some helpful hints on carving so I am all excited again to get busy.

Please be praying my knee will heal so I don't have to have a MRI and surgery. Thanks and God Bless!

Decorating for Halloween

Well I finally felt up to doing something the other day since I hurt my knee on labor day and they say I have torn something in it and may have to have surgery. But I put on a brace and went to town I was determined to get my house decorated and get me in the mood for trick or treat night. Even though last year I had not one trick or treater BooooooooooooWhoooooooooooo!

This year i will just have people over for a halloween dinner!!

Now I am in the mood to make more Halloween stuff for the store check us out!
