Gran Camp
I am not very good at keeping up to date on my posting but the last couple of weeks have sure been a blessing to me. I had two of my grand kids for some summer fun. We so enjoyed Gods beauty this past couple of weeks. They baled our pasture so we played on the hay bales , fished in our almost drie4d up pound and got to drive papas tractor. For city kids this was tons of fun. You can tell they are city kids cause we are using a towel to hold the fish! Hey to be honest Gran couldn't hold on to that slippery little bugger without the towel herself. God was so good we got to go to the lake near by a couple of days cause it was so nice and warm here. The weather was perfect. God has been so good to me this year I actually got to go out and enjoy my time with my grandkids this year. Everyday is a gift enjoy it!

After The Storm!!!
AFTER THE STORM!!!
This past week has given me allot of time to reflect and praise God for keeping my children and friends safe. There are mixed feelings because on one hand I am praising Him for my children's safety and on the other I am grieving for those who have lost so much.
I know that His compassion's never fail. They are new every morning: great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22
The first picture is one of my daughters neighborhood thank God her house was untouched all they were all in a cellar when the tornado went over their home.
The second is just so darn cute had to add it to give all those struggling as little smile in the mist of the darkness. After the storm comes the rainbow.
There is not allot to say so many stories of Gods mercies here in Oklahoma and of people showing their love for those who have lost so much. I am proud to be called an Okie!!!

In The Garden (Too many Fig Leaves for Me!!!)

Being the creatures we are, curious and not tending to listen well the first time, Eve listened to the flowery words of the serpent.
Believing the lies the serpent told woman Eve decided to take a bite . Yes even after the warning from the father she couldn't resit the beautiful fruit and the flowery words from the evil serpent.
And as they ate it they became aware of there nakedness, and were embarrassed. So they strung fig leaves together to cover themselves around the hips. Gen.3:7
Which leads me to my shopping trip! After hours of trying on cloths becoming more and more discouraged I headed home. To ease my frustration I deiced to walk out and water some of my plants. It occurred to me had we listened to our heavenly father the first time he warned us we would be merrily walking through a beautiful garden tending flowers with no need for clothing no frustration of trying to find something to cover those little imperfections we all have. I wonder after she ate the fruit did Eve feel ashamed of her body and its little imperfections. Frustrated , now she had to find fig leaves to cover herself. My goodness I wonder if there were big enough leaves in the garden to cover my body . What a thought !!! I would be looking for giant leaves to sew together. Help remind me Lord that your words are for a easier better life for me. Help me listen the first time so I wont be hunting giant fig leaves!!!

A New Start
I hope to turn over a new leaf and write on my blog at lest once a week!I would love to say once a day but I know myself I have good intentions but no will power as far as sticking to something. Kind of like my diets I want to I mean too but ................I just don't do!!!I hope to start each blog with a bible verse and try to relate it to something that is going in on my life at the time or someones around me.I hope to give hope to those who feel hopeless and love to those who feel unloved and laughter to everyone because these are the things that keep!!I will try to share everyday things also. Like what I am working on recipes things that help keep me sain. Creating is my therapy, so I thank God daily for allowing me to still be able to create. I also love giving gift or little things to make people smile. These are the things that give me joy. That and my grandchildren.
So here goes my new leaf my new start on my blog page!!

This verse and the flowers above remind me of my sister, my dear sweet Kate who lives in Colorado and who has been faced with many health issues this past few months and has kept a positive attitude and believed that there is always hope. Kate is as genital spirit who loves nature. She is a landscaper by trade and has a green thumb to be sure , unlike mine thumb whos only purpose as of late seems to be to getting caught in drawers, and smashed with hammers. Kate came to visit last summer and turned my rose buses in to works of art they have hundred blooms now just from her knack for trimming. But back to my story Kate was facing three maybe four surgeries and had lost her ability to work because of it. There was no income and to say the least no insurance. Things were looking very bleak. She had been told that the help she was receiving would not cover the surgeries and it would be best if she just gave up. In fact she had a surgeon tell her to cancel the surgery unless she could come up with ...........well just lets say enough to pay for a Lamborghini, in cash. To say the least that was not any where near a possibility even with friends and families help. She called saying they want be to cancel it had taken months to even get in to see the surgeon and he wanted her to cancel she continued to say no i am waiting on a miracle. They laughed at her all except for one sweet girl who said don't give up Kate, I am trying to find someone. This young lady must have had a heart for God because she never gave up. Two days before the surgery was planed the girl called and said she had done and tried everything to make a long story short she said I guess there is no hope. Yet she prayed and could not rest God placed on her heart to go to the top guy above her superiors the ones that told her there was nothing that could be done.And as it often is in Gods timing a miracle did come money and people and things fell into place and the surgery was done all because of a loving God who gives everlasting Love and draws us near with loving kindness and places in our paths those who also love.
So if you are out there feeling low discourage and don't see any hope on the horizon believe and trust in His love for you an everlasting love. Feel his presence drawing you near.
Romping in the Yard
This little guy was romping in the yard tonight. It was so cool him and one of his brothers were playing running back and forth in and out of the tree line.When I start missing living closer to the city God gives me a reminder of why I love living here in the country. As much as I miss being close to my grandkids its fun for them to come to Grans house and see sights like this. Only a few more weeks til Thanksgiving and ever one will be here for a week in the deer woods and Thanksgiving dinner fun and games!I cant wait I am in the process of making table decorations now. Here is one of the bigger turkeys I made for the store today!

God really blessed my little store last week I sold an item everyday!! Thanks to all who looked and bought and thank God for better health this year. I am looking forward to going to war eagle for the first time this next weekend!All the years I had the craft store my own craft shows I never got to go this year I get to I am so excited! Inspiration from this past weekend in Eureka Springs!!
My sweet husband decided I needed a weekend away after this past year of surgeries and being stuck inside. So he surprised me with a weekend in Eureka Springs. It was wonderful shopping and looking at crafts and antiques and this weekend was city wide garage sells so we got a bonus. We would shop awhile go back to hotel relax in pool and hot tub then take a nap and go back out shopping!!!!!!!!!! It was wonderful and inspired me to make this Halloween wreath as well as give me some more fun ideals for Christmas and other holidays. Thanks honey love you> God really blessed me when he put you into my life.
Halloween Wreath
Just got back from a relaxing weekend at Eureka Springs! My sweet husband thought after this past year I needed a weekend away from the house and all the memories of surgeries and being stuck inside. It was so much fun to take our time and just look at crafts antiques and just be away from the every day hassles. We would shop a little go swim and relax in the hot tub take a nap then back out shopping!!It inspired me to make this little wreath when we got home.Cant decide if Ill keep it give it to my granddaughter and her roommate for there fist apartment or sell it. If Darian and Makayla want it then its theirs of course~~!!!

I am so blessed this past week I got to see my best friend since Jr High, that I haven't seen in three years were older and greyer but we still laugh like we did back in school!!I am so glad her husband brought her to see me!! Thanks Danny!! The only thing that would be better if we lived closer so we could laugh together more. We missed you Becki that's our other friend!!! But we never forget her!!
Its A Beautiful Day the Lord Has Given Us!!!
Today is a great day and I love starting my day off with reading my encouraging blogs from Prairie Flower Farm and Linda Stubbs she is my favorite always so encouraging and so sweet the way she shares the Lord!!!
